Teaching Personnel is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to provide ad hoc supply cover across a range of secondary schools in Durham. This flexible role is ideal for individuals looking to gain varied classroom experience, maintain work life balance, or explore a career in education. You'll deliver pre prepared lessons to students aged 11 to 16 in the absence of their usual teacher. Your key responsibility will be ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning while maintaining a calm, positive and productive classroom environment. Depending on the setting, you may also be required to support pupils with special educational needs and provide clear feedback to teaching staff regarding student behaviour and progress.
