About The Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of features for the digitalisation of a benefit line on the account. Experience with Java Spring Boot microservices, MongoDB, and Node.js frontend services is required.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working involving company offices, client sites, and your home. Note that working from home 100% of the time is not possible.

Your Role
* Design, develop, and execute Java and BDD test scenarios.
* Document test cases, scenarios, and results.
* Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
* Support requirement capture and provide testing guidance.
* Test Java Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs.
* Test Node.js frontend services.
* Use Cucumber and Selenium for BDD testing.
* Conduct unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
* Document test plans and results.
* Work with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
* Utilize CI/CD pipelines.
* Understand JWTs for data security.
* Perform accessibility, performance, and security testing.
* Use Docker and Maven for testing.
* Follow web standards and GOV.UK design system.
Your Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, AWS, MongoDB.
* Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, RestAssured.
* Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with Gitlab and Terraform.
* Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an agile team.
* Comprehensive documentation skills.
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed, you must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, which requires residency in the UK for the last 5 years, among other criteria. You will be asked about your eligibility during the recruitment process. Some roles may be restricted to UK nationals.
