About the Role:
GSL Education are currently seeking to appoint enthusiastic Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) Level 4 to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Hull. Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) Level 4 Role:
* Supervise classes and support students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
* Assist in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies.
* Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
* Work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and educational professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective learning environment.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge in education.
The successful candidate will:
* Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Must have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
* Right to work in the UK.
* An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
* A strong understanding of the Secondary school curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
