Northern Ireland Business Development Manager Plumbing, Heating, HVAC & Building Services Solutions £50,000 - £55,000 base plus bonus and great benefits The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading plumbing, heating and HVAC manufacturer in a senior sales role covering Northern Ireland. The position is a balanced mix of account management and new business development, focused on growing existing relationships while identifying and converting new project and account opportunities. You will be responsible for promoting and selling the full product portfolio, including valves, control systems, piping and HVAC solutions, working closely with OEMs, main contractors, consultants and the merchant network. While you will influence and manage relationships directly with end users and specifiers, all sales are fulfilled through the merchant network, making collaboration with merchants a key part of the role. This role involves managing a portfolio of established accounts, reactivating dormant customers, and developing new opportunities across a range of sectors within the construction and building services market. The Role Manage and develop an existing base of OEM, contractor and specification accounts across Northern Ireland Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new projects, new accounts and upselling opportunities within existing customers Sell the full portfolio of plumbing, heating and HVAC products including valves, control systems, piping and associated solutions Drive project and specification-led sales, working from early design stage through to completion Build and maintain strong working relationships with merchants, ensuring projects and opportunities are successfully back-sold through distribution Work closely with internal technical, specification, merchant and customer service teams to maximise account growth Maintain a structured pipeline using CRM, balancing short-term wins with longer-term project opportunities This is a varied, relationship-driven role offering autonomy, strong internal support and long-term career progression. The Ideal Candidate This role will suit someone from a construction, building services or MEP background who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships while still having the drive to win new business.
