Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Crawcrook (Addison Court, Prestwick Care)

Key Responsibilities
* Drive, establish and maintain our CORE values throughout your team.
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
* Help residents with mobility and physical activities as needed.
* Monitor and record residents\' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during their stay.
* Assist nursing staff with basic medical tasks during resident care.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members about resident needs.
Required Skills & Experience
* Working towards a Care Certificate or NVQ equivalent; certification as a nursing assistant preferred.
* Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety practices.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* English proficiency sufficient to undertake responsibilities.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not required.
* Satisfactory DBS check.
* Satisfactory Right to Work in the UK or equivalent being maintained.
