What is the job role?
As an HLTA, you will:
1. Be confident in delivering Modern Foreign Languages across Key Stage 2–we don’t mind which language!
2. Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2—working closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and adapt lessons and interventions.
3. Lead small groups and 1:1 support to help children succeed academically and personally.
4. Manage classes in the absence of the teacher (PPA, ECT release, cover, etc.).
5. Support assessment, feedback, and tracking of pupil progress.
6. Play a role in pastoral care, helping foster good behaviour, routines, and a supportive learning environment.

7. Have experience of teaching and learning in a school, ideally KS2.

12. 37 hours per week Mon – Thurs 8:30 – 4:30 Fri 8:30 – 4:00
13. Grade 4(salary)
14. Term time only + 1 week (39 weeks per year)
