Role requirements
* Experience: 2+ years teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in a holistic, trauma‑informed way.
* Subjects: Familiarity with English, Maths and/or Science.
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate if needed) and 2+ professional references.
* Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs.
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
Role responsibilities
* Provide tuition in person, online/remote, or hybrid for Maths, English or Science to children, teens and young people with SEMH and SEND needs (including MLD, SLD, PMLD).
* Support pupils and students from KS1–KS5 (as appropriate) referred by local authorities and schools.
* Plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
* Plan and report lessons, and provide regular feedback on student progress.
* Contribute to our mission to raise the standard of education for SEND and other special needs.
