Benefits and Efficiencies Analyst - 32067
The Environment Agency is committed to an inclusive workforce. This role sits in the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. We are looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio to set standards for benefits and value management and embed them.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits; support decision-making and risk management across change and transformation.
* Contribute to creating a centralised portfolio that drives transformation and continuous improvement.
Experience / Skills
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues; commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Additional information
* Hybrid working; national role with EA Office base location; some travel and overnight stays may be required.
