We are looking for an experienced Sub Assembler to support the team with the assembly, fitting, de-burring and pressure testing of high value components as part of the complex manufacturing process and with conformance to quality specifications. You should be able to demonstrate: Understand and use the relevant documents to perform tasks at the appropriate stages of manufacture. Assembly of line bore assemblies and other parts for the machine shop in line with the relevant Company Quality Standards (AS and ISO) and with a Right First Time and On-time ethos. Raise and process NCRs and contribute to the resolution of problems. De-burring to facilitate the fitting of components as well as cosmetic and safety de-burring of parts. Along with Laser marking and fitting of valve seats and guides. Inspect own components and that of colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met Look for, suggest and contribute to making cost reductions, efficiencies and continuous improvement. Work closely and communicate effectively with different departments and roles to achieve the best outcome of each task and make improvements where identified. Take ownership of own safe working practices and participate in health and safety audits. Report and/or resolve any perceived Health and safety risks or breaches. Adhere to and promote environmental good practice.
