Wrare searching for a driven Head of Talent Acquisition to come andlead the function fromearly careers to leadership resourcing andsocial value at a leading construction scale up. Being responsiblefor ensuring the best experience for candidates from application today one.
Success in this role will bedemonstrated by efficiently effectively and creatively sourcingtalent at all levels backgrounds and experiences to promote thecompanyas a diverse and inclusive employer. To do this this rolewill work with leaders andhiring managers to design and implementsuitable hiring strategies for roles upskill hiring managers workon process improvements as well as conducting interviews andfilteringcandidatesfor open positions whilst managing anddeveloping the Talentteam.
Responsibilities:
* Takesownership for attraction sourcing interviewing and hiringactivities in a competitive headcountconstrainedindustry.
* Proactively identify and addresshiring needs with hiring managers and leaders to provide talentsuccession plans and sourcingstrategies.
* Promotes the companysreputation asbest place to work and ensures managers are living andcommunicating their EVP.
* Delivers an excellentcandidate experience starting from first contact through to dayone.
* Strategic lead on Apprenticeship andgraduates coaching and managing the Early CareersManager.
* Collaborate and deliver Social Valueplans in conjunction with Sustainability and Projectleads.
* Plans creates shapes delivers andmeasures the companysattraction activities recruitment activitiesand success while ensuring theypresentthemselfto the worldappropriately.
* Creates and presents resourcingKPIs monthly. Using data evidence to shape improvements and measurestrategic and operational success.
* Collaborateswith the Head of Communication on employer branding leading anddelivering employer brandinginitiatives.
* Procure and implement anATS.
* Recruit leadership and managementroles.
* Upskills hiring managers who are keen tolearn but need guidance and direction so knows and impartsrecruitment best practice across thebusiness.
* Monitors and applies recruiting bestpractices.
* Inputs to job descriptions andcandidate profiles to ensure realism andobjectivity.
* Managing a recruitmentbudget.
Experience:
* Youllhave a background in construction with experience of early careerstalent management and social value.
* Youll beused to managing a diverse workload and prioritising and shapingactivities to get things done in a meaningful and planfulway.
* Youll be used to working with managers atall levels of the organisation knowing their time is precious andyoure there to advise on key talent acquisitionactivities.
* Youll need tohandle peoplebrilliantly collaborative values led.
* Be ableto deliver in a challenging environment.
* Standyour ground and be resilient theyre building the business sohelping managers and colleagues understand their role in makingthis a great place to work and our early careers programmessuccessful is important.
