Job Title: HGV TechnicianLocation: RushdenSalary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)Employment Type: Full-time, PermanentShifts: Various shifts available (Days, Nights, Rotating, and Weekends)About the Role:We are looking for experienced and motivated HGV Technicians to join our team in Rushden. With a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive company. We offer flexible shift patterns to suit different lifestyles, including day, night, rotating, and weekend shifts.You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our HGV fleet through professional servicing, maintenance, and repairs.Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and service a range of heavy goods vehicles
* Conduct MOT preparations, routine inspections, and preventative maintenance
* Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
* Ensure all work is carried out to DVSA and company safety standards
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across different shift teams
* Attend breakdowns when required (rotational or voluntary basis)
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Valid UK Driving Licence – HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable but not essential
* Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required
