Applications are invited from enthusiastic, suitably qualified registered mental health nurses who are keen to enhance/develop clinical skills to work within Stirling Community Mental Health Services. The post is being offered on a permanent basis.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). The Community Mental Health Team is a specialist service that accepts referrals for adults between the age of 18 - 65 years who predominately, but not exclusively, have a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness. The team provides a comprehensive assessment, consultation and advice service to a range of referrers. Working in conjunction with key agencies, the department provides ongoing care, treatment and support through assessment and implementation of clinical interventions using a bio-psychosocial model of care. We also provide comprehensive individualised packages of care to adults with complex care needs, due to severity of condition or degree of co-morbidity.
The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients within their own homes and within the designated Resource Centre.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
