Hours: 14 per week
Pay: £13.85 per hour
Location: Bramley, Guildford
We are looking for a warm and friendly PA to support Angie, a young person living in Bramley, Guildford. Angie would like a PA who feels more like a companion and enjoys spending time together in the community.
Responsibilities
* Going for walks in nature and around the local area
* Shopping trips and visits to cafés
* Travelling by public transport
* Encouraging conversation and practising social interaction
* Supporting Angie to explore hobbies, such as music, gadgets, YouTube, art, and photography
Qualifications
* Kind, patient, and open-minded
* Comfortable giving Angie time to think and respond verbally
* Interested in music and happy to share that interest
* Conscientious, with excellent communication skills
* Appreciative of the challenges and strengths of autism
* Reliable and enthusiastic about spending time socially with Angie
No specific caring experience is required, though this would be helpful. There are no pets in the household.
