Whittard of Chelsea seeks a Part-Time Temporary Sales Advisor (8-16 hours) for its new Bluewater store.
At Whittard of Chelsea, we’ve been bringing customers on a journey of tea, coffee and hot chocolate discovery since 1886. Now, we’re opening the doors to a brand-new store, and we’re looking for passionate, friendly and curious people to join us from day one.

You’ll need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, key trading days, and during our opening period. We require availability of a minimum of 4 days, please note interviews for this role will not take place before mid-September.
A Day in the Life of a Whittard Sales Advisor
* As part of our opening team, you’ll help set the tone from the very first cup poured. You’ll create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every customer leaves with a smile - and a story to tell.
You’ll be:
A Customer Champion
* You’ll welcome each guest, start conversations, and make sure they get the most out of their visit - whether it’s tasting something new, finding the perfect gift, or learning about our heritage.
A Product Expert in the Making
* You’ll learn all about our teas, coffees, hot chocolates and brewing tools - so you can help customers explore the range and make confident choices. You’ll bring our products to life through sampling and storytelling.
A Sales Star
* You’ll be proactive in helping customers find what they need (and maybe a few things they didn’t know they needed!). You’ll talk through bundles, promotions and new arrivals to help increase basket size and create a memorable experience.
A Team Player from Day One
You’ll help build a positive, supportive store culture - sharing knowledge, pitching in during busy moments, and cheering each other on. You’ll also play your part in onboarding new colleagues as they join the team.
An Operational All-Rounder
* Whether it’s stocking shelves, keeping the shop floor tidy, or helping with tills and deliveries, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll take pride in the details - because they all add up to a great customer experience.
