Project Manager – East Midlands £42,000 – £48,000 + £6,500 Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday
Our client is a well-established, international business and a recognised leader in their sector, with a strong UK presence and a reputation for quality and innovation.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of allocated projects across dedicated business units, from initiation through to closeout. You'll be coordinating internal teams and third-party contractors, managing timelines and budgets, keeping stakeholders informed, and making sure projects land on time and to the standard the business expects.
This would suit someone from a Project Management, Project Engineering, Contract Engineering, or Programme Management background, ideally within Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, or Shopfit. This role is not suitable for IT Project Managers.
The role is based in Mansfield with regular travel to client sites across the UK, all on a day basis with no overnight stays required.
What you'll be doing
Managing projects end to end, including planning, reporting, financials, and closeout
Defining scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders
Tracking timelines and milestones, proactively managing risks and changes in scope
Booking installation resources and managing third-party contractors and consultants
Drafting P&Ls and recommending commercial changes where needed
Producing clear progress reports and communicating expectations across the team
What we're looking for
Proven project management experience in a relevant sector
Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong communicator, organised, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
Useful but not essential: Prince2, NVQ Level 5 in Project Management, CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness Cat A, Emergency First Aid
