HR Business Partner – Midlands (Multi-Site) Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE Benefits: £5,000 car allowance or company car, enhanced pension, life assurance, and additional benefits Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Midlands-based (covering sites across the East Midlands, Milton Keynes, and occasionally the North West) Hybrid Working: Approx. 2 days per week from home About the Role We’re working with a leading national organisation to recruit a talented HR Business Partner to support multiple operational sites across the Midlands and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys a varied, hands-on role partnering with managers to deliver practical and effective people solutions. The position offers an excellent balance between on-site engagement and home-based flexibility, typically requiring travel 2–3 days per week. Key Responsibilities Partner with site management teams to deliver the people plan and drive HR initiatives that support business goals. Lead on the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, development, performance management, and employee relations. Provide expert HR advice, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and internal policies. Support managers through employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Employee Representative bodies. Coach and upskill line managers to enhance leadership capability and drive a high-performance culture. Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure consistent and inclusive practices across all sites. About You You’ll be an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You’re confident in influencing at all levels, balancing operational needs with a people-first approach. Essential Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner across multiple sites. Strong generalist HR knowledge including recruitment, performance management, reward, and employee relations. In-depth understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice. Demonstrated success implementing people initiatives aligned to business strategy. Experience managing complex employee relations cases. Desirable: CIPD or equivalent qualification.
