We are working with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in the Heswall area who are looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher on a part-time basis (2.5 days per week) starting after May half term.

What We’re Looking For
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
12. Experience teaching within KS2
13. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
14. Reliable, organised and proactive approach
15. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Job Specification
Your role as a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher in the age group of your speciality will be varied and at times challenging. But we doubt you’ll find a more satisfying career where your main objectives will be to develop the children and prepare them for the next stage.
As a Primary School Key Stage 2 Teacher you’ll be expected to:
20. Teach all areas of the school curriculum
21. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
22. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
23. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
24. Maintain discipline
25. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
26. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
27. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
28. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
