Our client a global management consultancy business in Glasgow with an exciting newly created opportunity for a Finance Manager. Our client is expanding their capabilities across a variety of acquisitions and the Finance Manager will be responsible for leading on a range of projects and providing the end-end delivery of financial operations. The Finance Manager is a permanent opportunity and will work alongside a team of 20 accountants in the office and will be responsible for working with a range of financial and non-financial stakeholders. This opportunity offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum over a 3 day working week in the office.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this role will be dedicated to providing technical and commercial insight within the accounting process. You will be responsible for providing management accounting and detailed cash-flow forecasting information on business performance, including financial modelling and performance analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and accounting disclosures and supporting with statutory/financial reporting requirements.
The Role:
* Management Accounts production including variance analysis
* Preparation of budget and cash-flow forecasting
* Presentation of Financial reports and meaningful MI
* Statutory Accounts preparation and supporting on Audit/Tax matters
* General ledger reconciliation
* Working with accounts support team to produce management accounts
* Accruals, pre-payments and associated analysis work
* Managing month-end deadlines
The Candidate:
* CA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Previous experience in presenting management accounts and offering insight
* IFRS/UKGAAP experience
* Pro-active approach to Process improvement
