The hospital has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their friendly and experienced intensive care team. The service covers a range of specialities and procedures including orthopaedics, gynaecology and cardio. The hospital boasts excellent facilities and has 6 well-equipped operating theatres. The team are passionate about what they do and looking for a like-minded Registered Nurse to join their thriving intensive care team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as Registered Nurse as part of the ICU nursing team and will be responsible for:
8. Caring for Level 2/3 patients in ITU
9. Constantly assess and reassess patients health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
10. Provide effective / safe / high standard care to patients post cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgical procedures
11. Assist in the delivery of care to meet each and every individual needs
12. Assisting the Multi-Disciplinary Team in planning care
Who we’re looking for
13. Be NMC registered RGN – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
14. Have a minimum of 2 years ICU experience in the UK is essential for this role
15. ICU certificate is desirable
16. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
17. Cardiothoracic experience preferable but not essential
18. Excellent communication skills
