Outsourcing Senior Manager, York, with Hybrid working
Our client is a regional accountancy firm who are planning for their continued journey of growth. They are looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA qualified Outsourcing Manager to join the team in their modern and growing business. This role has plenty of “head room” for growth and career progression for a commercially focused Accountant.
As the Outsourcing Senior Manager you will have plenty of autonomy to be very active in the market to win new business and be a key hire in further developing the Outsourcing / Business Services offering with this firm. The Outsourcing Senior Manager's role will include:
1. Developing very strong business relationships with Directors (and their team) of growing Owner Managed Businesses – you must enjoy being a true business advisor.
2. Being excited to assist your clients in their next steps of growth.
3. Be an integral part of your clients’ finance function including attending and/or preparing for Board meetings.
4. Review of all aspects of accounts work mainly under UK GAAP, monthly and quarterly management reporting for some clients.
5. Managing accounting and outsourcing assignments, keeping the clients informed regularly of relevant information through to completion at year or month or project close.
6. Attending annual budget meetings.
7. Devising adhoc reporting for clients of various industries so they have relevant information in “real time.”
8. Extensive uses of modern accounting tech such as Cloud-Based accounting systems; such as Xero.
9. Supporting trainees and qualified team members with their development, managing workflow and providing feedback on relevant performance.
10. Being proactively commercial, enjoy winning new business, attending networking events, being able to identify cross-selling of service lines across the business.
