Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic manufacturing company serving global markets through OEM partnerships, direct sales, and distribution networks. To support their continued expansion, we are looking for an adaptable and motivated Quality Engineer to join their energetic team.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement. Youll work independently and collaboratively to enhance product and process quality, conduct investigations, perform root cause analysis, and drive effective solutions across the business.
Key Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer, your role will include (but is not limited to):
Applying Lean Six Sigma principles to assess and enhance process capability and product quality.
Leading or supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process issues.
Maintaining and reporting on QEHS metrics, such as Right First Time (RFT) and Customer Complaints (CC).
Engaging with customers to resolve product queries and concerns effectively.
Logging and investigating customer complaints, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.
Collaborating with suppliers to resolve incoming quality issues.
Supporting the development and maintenance of quality management system documentation.
Assisting in the smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) process from a quality perspective.
Leading or participating in cross-functional quality improvement projects.
Supporting regulatory compliance and related documentation activities.
Conducting internal audits, 6S audits, and risk assessments.
Performing other duties as required by the business.
Qualifications & Experience Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience/training.
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years in a Quality Assurance role.
Skills & Attributes Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools and quality improvement methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and engineering skills.
Solid understanding of ISO 9001 or comparable quality standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
Hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
High level of accountability and reliability, both individually and in team settings.
Competent in MS Office and experienced with quality reporting and data analysis.
Skilled in report writing, with the ability to deliver clear, concise conclusions and actionable recommendations.
Internal auditor certification required.
