Enteral Feeding Dietitian

We are looking for a Band 5 Dietitian with experience in working with children and/or adults who are enterally fed, to support both ages in a temporary role.
Main duties of the job
* Provide high quality nutrition and dietetic services to children and adults who are enterally fed.
* Provide specialist advice and treatment plans for children and adults who are enterally fed.
* Support adults and children, alongside other health care professionals, in decision making for commencement of enteral feeding.
Person specification
Qualifications
* HCPC registered
* Postgraduate training relevant to the role
Experience
* Significant post graduate dietetic experience in an NHS hospital setting
* Experience working with adults who require oral nutrition support and enteral feed
* Experience of developing and delivering presentations
* Experience of supervising dietetic students on practice placement
* Experience working with children who require oral nutrition support
Skills and knowledge
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
* Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Evidence of leadership and team building skills
