A great opportunity has arisen for a Customer Project Manager to join a leading company driving fibre delivered products and services to partners and business customers across the UK. The Customer Project Manager is responsible for managing customer projects in order to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services. The position requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to understand customer needs and align internal teams to meet those needs. The role will include agreeing with the client timelines, changes to the project and reporting requirements and delivering on those requirements at an agreed frequency/regularity. ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of products and servicesEngage with Bid forums and customers and support pre-sales activity to develop a pipeline planCreate Project Initiation Documents and project plans that align with customer requirements and internal capabilitiesCommunicate project status to the customer and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleIdentify and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependenciesEnsure that all project deliverables are produced on time and to the required quality standardManage and motivate project team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budgetProvide regular and accurate project reporting to the Programme Manager and senior managementProvide input to Project Trackers for one-truth reportingParticipate in the development of project management processes and standardsManagement of technical, business and resourcing projectsManagement of assigned resources as appropriate to the implementation of project related activitiesPrepare and maintain all project documentation such as initiation, delivery plans and budgetsDevelop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projectsEnsure deliverables meet required quality standardsEnsure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the Initiation stageDevelop and maintain a communications plan and keep the business communities appraised of project plans and related implications.Ensure business benefits can be realised or that risks inhibiting realisation are highlightedApplying a strong commercial overview and tracking of project costs and revenuesComplete a Project Close Down Report' to include the learning.Experience Significant experience as a project manager with a minimum of 2 years managing Customer projectsPrince 2 PractitionerExperience within the telecoms industryKnowledge of Microsoft Project Professional or similar project management toolsMust be innovative, flexible and adaptable in order to operate effectively within a fast-paced environment with a number of key programmes running simultaneouslyAdopts a holistic view of the organisation to ensure projects are managed effectively across all workstreams end to endAbility to solve problems and communicate decisions in a creative but measured wayAbility to ensure project delivery aligns to key strategic and operational objectivesAbility to develop and produce project progress reporting ensuring that it is timely, informative and effectiveAbility to maintain a balance across all key elements of a project including financial, quality and people and customer expectationsExcellent organisational and leadership skills including leading by example to ensure that the correct values and behaviours are embedded in the businessOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilities BenefitsUp to £50,000 DOE25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCar allowance Birthday and work anniversary off Hybrid workingPensionAdditional benefitsTo be considered for this fantastic opportunity please submit your up to date CVImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
