Social Worker - Court Team – Salary: £44,075-£49,282 (Grade 7); Hours: 37; Contract type: 3 x Permanent (Full Time); Work Style: Field (working in communities across the city).

The specialist Court Team is responsible for pre proceedings, private and public law work with children and their families. By applying for a post within the team you will have a protected caseload. We are looking for an ambitious and confident individual to contribute to this service area, continuing the work we have started, maintaining our positive reputation within the court arena, producing good quality and timely reports and assessments and ensuring care planning for the Authority’s most vulnerable children is achieved to a high standard.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to pre proceedings, private and public law work with children and families.
* Maintain a protected caseload as part of the Court Team.
* Produce good quality and timely reports and assessments.
* Ensure care planning for the Authority’s most vulnerable children is achieved to a high standard.

Working arrangements
All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style. Some roles are agile to maximise performance and productivity while maintaining work life balance. Fixed workstyle roles are based at a permanent council location. Field workstyle roles involve working in the community with a minimum requirement for touch-down space at a council location. Flexible workstyle roles allow a flexible base location with work from home or any council office, partner/client or external location as required to meet service requirements.
