Overview
Our public sector client wishes to employ an ICT Infrastructure Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure solutions and services built on a range of virtualisation, server, storage, and data protection platforms from Cisco, VMware and Dell|EMC. They will be expected to provide hands-on technical support in the delivery of ICT infrastructure, to respond to escalated issues, to assist in the delivery of new services, and ensure that the organisation's environment is available & secure. Supporting M365/Azure, Server hardware, software, and security/network devices.
Requirements
* Experience of IT Infrastructure support including servers, networks, cloud services etc
* Good knowledge of cloud platforms, including M365 / Azure.
* Understand LAN/WAN/VPN and VOIP Telephony systems.
What you'll do as an IT Infrastructure Engineer
* Provide general IT Support
* Manage and maintain servers, networks (LAN/WAN/VPN), and VOIP telephony systems.
* Offer support for cloud services, including M365 and Azure platforms.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server hardware, software, and security/network devices.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure high availability of applications hosted on in-house or cloud servers and software-as-a-service platforms.
* Contribute to the operation and development of our Cloud, network, server, and security services.
