An ambitious and fast-growing civil engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will deliver infrastructure and drainage designs from early planning stages through to detailed design and construction, working closely with senior engineers and external stakeholders while taking increasing ownership of projects.
The Role
Lead the design of drainage and infrastructure schemes for residential and commercial developments, with a strong technical focus on surface water and foul drainage strategies
Deliver drainage designs from concept and planning stages through to detailed design and construction
Support highways design and coordinate with relevant authorities (highways experience beneficial but secondary to drainage expertise)
Liaise with clients, consultants and local authorities throughout project lifecycles
Support and mentor junior engineers where requiredRequirements
Minimum 3 years’ UK experience in civil engineering
Strong background in infrastructure and drainage design
Highways design experience
Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D advantageous)
Ability to manage workload independently and work collaborativelyWhat’s on Offer
Salary £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working (typically 2–3 days in the office)
