* Job Title: Facilities Manager
* Location: Oak Tree School, Truro, TR4 9NH
* Salary: £37,500 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
* Hours: 42.5 Hours per week; Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
* Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our close-knit team at Oak Tree School located in Truro.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, and day-to-day operations of our buildings and grounds. The Facilities Manager will ensure that our work environment is safe, functional, and efficient, supporting both our staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the facilities team and supervise planned and reactive repair programmes, domestic tasks, and catering duties as appropriate
* Ensure high standards of facilities and full responsibilities of the facilities team are exercised
* Coordinate capital and operational expenditure
* Monitor and audit work schedules and project quality
* Liaise with external providers for cost-effective contracts
* Prioritize and organize workload for all responsibilities
* Manage on-call/out-of-hours response rotas
* Maximize economy and efficiency in all works
* Ensure risk assessments and procedures are in place according to standards
* Support issues related to Health and Safety, food hygiene, fire management, and building legislation
* Develop maintenance programmes for responsive, cyclical, and planned works
Requirement
* Full UK Driving Licence
