At The Barnsdale, we're home to two cosy treatment rooms, a sparkling outdoor pool, bubbling hot tubs, a smiley spa reception team, and the occasional tray of delicious food and drinks heading poolside.
We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Spa Manager who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, dive into the day-to-day, and keep our serene-but-busy spa running like a well-oiled (Bramley-scented) machine. As well as a great salary you will get approx. £3,500 per year in Tronc, paid into your monthly pay packet, as well as product sales incentives!
Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Spa Kingdom)
As our Spa Manager, you’ll be in charge of:
* Two treatment rooms where tranquillity reigns supreme
* An outdoor pool & hot tubs that keep guests blissfully happy
* A bustling spa reception where first impressions matter
* Light food & drink service (bubbles included!)
* Leading and nurturing a fabulous team of around 9 Spa superstars
* Keeping everything running smoothly, safely, and with a whole lot of heart
* Ensuring our Bramley product partnership continues to shine as brightly as our guests’ glowing skin
This isn’t a “sit in the office” job — it’s very much a feet-on-the-ground, sleeves-up, guest-loving role.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are…

* Experienced in Spa or wellness management (or ready to step up)
* Comfortable working most weekends — because that's when the spa party peaks

* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)
* IOSH / NEBOSH qualified (preferable).
* Pool Plant Operator Level 3 qualified (preferable).
