IT Service Desk Operator / ICT Technician – Band 4 – NHS Scotland Digital Directorate, Mackenzie Building, Ninewells Site, Dundee
Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day Service Desk and customer support to NHS Tayside IT users and partner agencies.
* Deliver reliable, dependable support services while ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
* Escalate technical issues to the appropriate specialist teams in a timely manner.
* Adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and NHS Tayside regulations.
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in an IT field.
* Working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 and common user applications.
* Basic computer hardware and software knowledge.
* Strong problem‑solving ability and adaptability to new and challenging situations.
* Capacity to work reliably across a variety of shift patterns, including weekend work at an enhanced pay rate.
