Advertisement Details The Road Safety Officer is based in the Safety section and is responsible for creating, drawing together and building on a variety of work currently carried out by the internal departments and external agencies to meet Government targets as well as the issues contained within the Road Safety Strategy. To work towards changing attitudes amongst current and future road users to achieve safer road use throughout Shetland and to put in place mechanisms to ensure the future sustainability of associated programmes and plans.
