We are currently seeking a Process Controller to join our Newbury area operations team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and sociable team of professionals committed to delivering the production of millions of litres of water for customers.
Base Location: Speen - Newbury - RG14 1RT, however, you will cover the wider area and drive between several different sites, therefore you will need a full clean UK driving licence.
Working pattern: 38 hours per week, 07:30 - 15:36, Monday-Friday, plus standby rota participation for which you will receive additional payment.
What will you be doing as a Process Controller
The successful candidate will be a key member of the area operations team, delivering high standards at our Water Treatment Works and Reservoirs. The role reports to the Production Manager alongside other Process Technicians.
1. Complete scheduled planned work on plant and equipment, complying with standards to enhance plant resilience.
2. Respond to reactive work to maintain operational output and water supply.
3. Support large-scale planned work at our sites with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Support training of apprentices, if needed.
5. Promote a safe working environment through your actions and behaviours.
6. Participate in out-of-hours standby work on a rotational basis.
7. Learn to operate and optimise all processes and equipment in water treatment to ensure quality, compliance, safety, and efficiency.

* Water Production license or equivalent qualification (preferred).
* Physical fitness, with training for working in confined spaces.
