We are excited to announce the opening of a new SEND Secondary School in Chaldon, Surrey, set to launch in September 2025. This school will cater to young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. We offer a broad and exciting curriculum, personalised to meet the needs, interests, and passions of our students.
We are seeking a highly effective SENDCo to join us at the start of this journey. This role involves working closely with the Head of School in all aspects of leadership and management, including managing and developing learning and teaching, curriculum, careers & work experience, assessment, and enrichment throughout the designated phases of the school.
Key Duties:
1. Promote best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the school through inset and CPD for new teachers.
2. Work with the Head of School to ensure a high-quality, exciting, engaging, well-resourced, differentiated, and well-matched curriculum for all children.
