My client, an award-winning industry leader in manufacturing and production, is seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join their energetic team. Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact for the Sales Team, maintaining a courteous, professional, and proactive approach to create a positive impression.
* Manage diaries by accepting and declining meeting requests, setting up meetings, and booking rooms.
* Assist in defining strategies and implementing plans that support sales directives.
* Monitor sales KPIs and pipeline, reporting progress to the Managing Director.
* Ensure the CRM system is up to date and used correctly by the sales team.
* Handle general administrative duties such as ordering stationery and office supplies.
* Use Bluebeam to generate measurements ahead of meetings for the sales team.
* Provide up-to-date content for social media pages in collaboration with the marketing team.
* Create and distribute mailshots internally and externally.
* Support the MD in organizing business activities.
* Research and coordinate travel arrangements, including hotels, flights, visas, taxis, and hire cars.
* Organize monthly board meetings, management meetings, and weekly sales meetings—booking rooms, catering, preparing presentation packs, and managing actions.
* Coordinate guest site visits, external functions, and meetings—handling site logs, bookings, catering, presentations, and transportation.
* Process small orders and retail customer transactions.
* Assist in planning, controlling, and executing sales department activities.
Candidate requirements:
* Degree educated or A Levels at A or B grade.
* Qualifications in architecture or construction are desirable.
* Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work proactively and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
