Job Overview

Responsibilities
* Support the Engineering Manager and act as deputy when required.
* Compile technical documentation, including bulletins, inspection guides, and operator handbooks.
* Serve as focal point for Engineering queries across departments.
* Design and implement solutions to reduce defects and improve performance.
* Attend client meetings and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop technical specifications and deliver engineering solutions that enhance reliability.
Essential Experience
* Experience with emergency services vehicles and equipment operations or maintenance.
* Fleet engineering experience.
* Familiarity with Tranman fleet management software.
* Supervisory experience in a technical environment.
Qualifications
* Heavy Goods Vehicle apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
* City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
