In this role, you will support the delivery of exceptional 5-star service, oversee day-to-day operations within your team, and ensure the highest standards of quality and guest experience are maintained. You will be actively involved in staff training and development, contribute to building strong operational foundations, and play a key role in shaping the property’s growth as new facilities, including luxury lodges, are introduced. Roles & Responsibilities Oversee daily housekeeping operations to maintain 5-star luxury standards across all areas of the property. Support the Director of Rooms in managing and developing the housekeeping team. Deliver staff training, mentoring, and performance management to ensure a motivated and high-performing team. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene standards in guest rooms, public areas, and luxury lodges. Assist in implementing operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. Ensure effective use and management of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment in line with best practices. Handle guest-facing responsibilities, responding to feedback and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Support planning and preparation for the property’s expansion, including new luxury lodges and additional housekeeping staff. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping within a 5-star luxury hotel or large-scale property. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Ability to manage operational processes, including productivity, cost control, and effective use of cleaning products and equipment. Warm, approachable, and professional demeanor with strong guest-facing skills.
