Location: 10 North Street, Ashburton, TQ13 7QD
Pay: £13.65 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

About the role
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll lead the store team—coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputising for the Store Manager, and performing various store tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages.
We focus on making things fairer for our members and communities. We support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing, with policies for life events like bereavement, pregnancy loss, fertility, and menopause.
What you’ll do
* Provide friendly, helpful service, managing the store and handling challenging situations
* Coach and train your team, fostering an inclusive environment
* Ensure the store is safe, legal, and operational
* Manage stock accuracy and diligence checks to enhance shopping experience
* Support the Store Manager and handle HR processes
* Introduce new products and services, encouraging team feedback
* Engage with the local community and support the community plan
