Randstad is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a secondary school at the location Upminster. We are looking for someone who has experience working with children, and who has relevant skills and attributes to help shape young people's lives!

Requirements
6. Previous experience of working with children
7. Eligibility to work in the UK - this is essential
8. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete a DBS
9. Previous experience in Secondary Schools is preferred
10. Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
11. Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
Roles and Responsibilities
12. Assist teaching staff in adapting materials and approaches to accommodate diverse learning needs.
13. Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils according to the school's policies, including safeguarding and PREVENT
14. Ability to engage with and build rapport with the students
15. Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
16. Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.
17. Encourage and motivate students, celebrating their achievements and progress, no matter how small, to boost their self-confidence and self-esteem
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build trust
