Cardiac Physiologist urgently required in Hertfordshire
Dream Medical are working with a large healthcare provider in the Hertfordshire region and have been asked provide an experienced cardiac physiologist, this will be a Locum role to start ASAP for an ongoing period offering full time hours and excellent hourly pay rates.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES
Recording and monitoring of electrocardiograms
To download results from ambulatory monitors
To assist the Cardiology Services Manager in preparing patients for investigations.
Preparation of equipment prior to clinical sessions.
Maintain records as requested by Cardiology Services Manager.
Maintain stock levels as requested by Cardiology Services Manager.
Assist the Cardiology Services Manager in daily administrative/ clerical duties.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of work including clinical practice.
Ensure a high standard of clinical care within own professional practice, and support other staff within the specialty to do likewise.
Assess and manage clinical risk within own patient caseload and within the specialty and to advice colleagues on risk management.
To maintain accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and service requirements, and communicate diagnostic results to the appropriate disciplines in the form of reports and letters.
Assist and ensure that safe and effective moving and handling of patients.
Dream Medical will require compliance documents to be provided such as current DBS, immunisation records (MMR, Hep B, BCG), registration certificates, references and ID
