We're working with a long-standing and respected consultancy in the Building Services sector, known for delivering high-quality Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, and specialist systems design across a wide range of sectors-including commercial, industrial, retail, and large-scale automated warehousing. As the business continues to grow, they're now seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their collaborative team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking to build on their current experience and take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. Role Overview: You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of mechanical design solutions across diverse building services projects. Working closely with Senior Engineers and project teams, you'll contribute to the full lifecycle of projects-from concept design through to site coordination and completion-gaining exposure to high-value, technically complex work across sectors. Key Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience in Mechanical Building Services design Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering Sound knowledge of HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plant room design Ability to produce mechanical designs and specifications for various building types Familiarity with integrated design and coordination with other MEP disciplines Awareness of sustainability and energy-efficient design principles Understanding of UK Building Regulations and British Standards Competent with AutoCAD and recognised building services design software (e.g. Hevacomp, Revit MEP, IES, etc.) Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload and meet deadlines Keen interest in developing technical expertise and progressing within the industry Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
