Role Overview: Our company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team based in Brighouse.
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across the electrical division.
The position calls for a blend of technical expertise and leadership acumen, providing technical support to the engineering team, managing workflows within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Supervising a team of field based electrical engineers, contractors, and surveyors (and Apprentices/Trainees) along with ancillary trades personnel, installing low carbon solutions and traditional heating system.
Meet with the team on a regular basis to monitor and review performance and agree actions to ensure excellent levels of service are delivered.
To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders involved in the Contract delivery.
Carry out work in progress and final inspection sign-off visits ensuring that all works have been completed to the customers and clients satisfaction.
Undertake Health & Safety Inspections in accordance with company policy/the contract.
Ensure quality control is carried out so that all work complies with current codes.
Qualifications: You should hold a Recognised City & Guilds electrical qualification (e.g., electrical installation theory.
Associated studies, electrical and electronic craft studies) or a City & Guilds 18th Edition 2381 A City & Guilds Electrical Testing or Qualified to NICEIC QS standards would be desirable, but not essential.
Experience within a Contract Supervision/Management role.
Knowledge and understanding of renewable technologies, such as Air Source Heat Pumps, PV, Battery Storage, EV Installations.
Accurate recording and reporting of information, along with planning and organisational skills.
Computer literate, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
