Role Overview
We have a new, exciting opportunity for an experienced GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician to take up a full‑time position as Senior Pharmacy Technician – Aseptic Services. You will provide leadership and management to the aseptic services team in delivering a safe and efficient aseptic service to our patients and will support the senior leadership team in the maintenance of the Quality Management System and further development of the service.
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a stand‑alone paediatric hospital located on the outskirts of Liverpool with a national reputation for excellence. Our pharmacy team delivers services across a wide range of paediatric surgical and medical specialties.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and management of the Aseptic Services team.
* Contribute to the development and management of a safe and effective pharmaceutical quality management system (QMS).
* Support and deputise for the Production Manager as required.
* Work collaboratively with the Aseptic Services team to ensure that facilities and practices comply with Good Manufacturing Practice.
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
