As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between customers and the workshop, ensuring high-quality service delivery while supporting daily operations and team coordination.
Your Role As Service Advisor
* Greet customers professionally, understand their requirements, and ensure all vehicle concerns are accurately recorded and communicated.
* Schedule appointments, prepare job cards, and liaise with technicians and parts teams to ensure smooth and timely vehicle turnaround.
* Provide clear updates, timelines, and cost estimates, ensuring customers remain informed throughout the process.
* Recommend additional services and maintenance where appropriate, supporting revenue growth while maintaining customer trust.
* Assist with front‑of‑house activities and support team coordination and daily workflow management.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and system updates in line with internal processes and standards.
Location: Warmington, Oxfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Full‑time
Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 + Bonus (OTE £33,000 – £40,000)
What You’ll Bring To The Service Advisor Role
* Previous experience in an automotive service, customer service, or aftersales environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
* Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
* Proficiency with IT systems, including dealership management systems and Microsoft Office.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability.
