About the role:
Responsible for identifying and securing opportunities globally, working with and supporting the Management Team. Contribute to creating a vision for business growth. Build and maintain strategic relationships within the renewables sector to enhance brand awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop business opportunities with new and existing customers.
2. Collaborate across departments to engage with key accounts.
3. Align client management plans with the Bids & Tendering Department.
4. Manage the pipeline of opportunities with the Bids Department.
5. Develop strategies for customer engagement and contract negotiations.
6. Implement and oversee CRM systems to monitor customer engagement and improve relationships.
7. Conduct regular reviews with clients and suppliers for feedback and improvements.
8. Plan and execute lead-generating marketing campaigns.
9. Coordinate with Marketing to develop targeted strategies.
10. Research market conditions and monitor competitors.
11. Identify emerging markets and develop strategies for early entry.
12. Stay informed on global news in renewable energy for new opportunities.
13. Attend international exhibitions to explore new openings.
14. Manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, and resource providers.
15. Work within deadlines and KPIs.
Additional Responsibilities include representing the business at forums and developing technical knowledge as needed.
About you:
* Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
* Ability to build relationships and lead teams and cross-departmental engagement.
* Professional qualifications (Post Graduate Degree).
* Industry experience, particularly in renewables, Electrical Engineering, or Windfarms, is desirable.
* Knowledge of Fibre Optic, HV termination, cable laying, and rigging is advantageous.
