Location: Doncaster Position: Toolmaker Hours: Flexible shift 6am-2pm/8am-4pm, Monday to Friday Pay rate: £35000 - £40000, DOE Our client, an innovative aluminium die-casting business, is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join their team. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the modification or construction of tooling, jigs, and attachments to maintain or enhance production processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the modification or construction of tooling, jigs, and attachments - Manufacture new tooling according to issued drawings - Test tooling prior to release - PPM on existing tooling - Read drawings and propose possible improvements - Maintain the Kanban system and ensure stock of supplies - Oversee the CNC shift and provide assistance where needed Requirements: - A strong background in toolmaking including CNC machining and bench fitting - Experience of PPM on tooling - Ability to read technical drawings accurately If you have a strong background in toolmaking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity...
