Due to growth within the engineering team, they are looking for a days based shift engineer. Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer: Carrying out PPM, reactive & predictive maintenance/breakdown analysis Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs & PPM's Working on various high-speed food production lines, processing & packaging machinery Site services & facilities maintenance Support project work and continuous improvement activities PLC & control panels - electrical fault finding & repairs Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be a maintenance engineer: Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrically biased NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering Be a problem solver, approachable, with good prioritisation skills Able to react to breakdowns effectively, safely and efficiently Both electrical & mechanical fault-finding capabilities Need to be comfortable working in poultry processing & production facility Ideally have worked in food, FMCG, industrial fast-paced manufacturing If you do not get a response back on your application within 24-48 hours, please presume you are unsuccessful.
