About The Role
Are you looking for a new clinical role to build or develop your portfolio career as a GP? Perhaps you need the freedom of more flexible hours. Perhaps you just relish a new challenge? This is the perfect chance to use and develop all your skills and expertise as a GP, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice and referrals to other healthcare resources via primary care centres and home visits. You will also use our electronic prescribing system to effectively manage the patient.
Team & Infrastructure
Based in our services across Brighton, you will be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as a lead clinician in a multi‑skilled team that includes advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses, prescribing pharmacists and pharmacy advisors. We are proud of our strong, stable infrastructure that ensures clinical safety and provides senior‑level clinical support throughout evenings, nights and weekends. You’ll be able to keep your skills up to date with a CPD programme, and can expect education and training tailored to your needs and future plans. We work closely with the NHS to provide opportunities to learn, innovate and contribute new ideas.
Schedule & Patient Base
The centre is open 7 days per week between 8am and 8pm. We have around 10,000 registered patients from a broad demographic, including many students. This is a bank face‑to‑face role, with a mixture of urgent care and registered GP work, and can also be offered as a salaried position.
