Giffords Recycling (now part of the Pontrilas Group) are currently looking to recruit an experienced FLT Driver to join our wood processing Company based in West Bromwich. You must be ab le to commute to postcode BH70 8JN.
This role will involve using a FTL on a daily basis but the role will also involve working in the Pallet Sorting Department. This is a good opportunity to join an expanding business.
The position entails:
* off-loading trailers
* sorting and stacking of premium wooden pallets from those needing repair.
* Candidates MUST hold a valid Forklift Truck Licence.
Additional Requirements:
You will need to be able to do the following:
* Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing and pulling of pallets
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Understand the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety
* Work independently and within a team
Hours are Monday to Thursday 7am until 4pm
Friday 7am until 3pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
