We are seeking an organised, patient-focused Patient Booker to join the Endoscopy team at Shrewsbury Hospital. This is an on site position supporting the smooth running of patient scheduling within a busy clinical environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate patient appointments for the Endoscopy department
* Liaise with clinical teams, admin teams, and patients to ensure efficient scheduling
* Deliver excellent patient communication and customer service
* Maintain accurate records and follow departmental procedures
* Support the wider Endoscopy team with administrative tasks as required
âś… Requirements
* Must be on site at Shrewsbury Hospital (no remote working)
* Experience in Endoscopy is essential either as a Patient Booker, Scheduler, or Healthcare Support Worker with exposure to endoscopy services
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
* Confident using hospital IT systems training will be provided
