Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a Corporal (Any Profession – however, preference will be given to People Ops – People Specialist) to serve as a JNCO Reserves Support 2 on the Central Reserve Support Wing (CRSW) at RAF Wittering, on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 28 September 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status and establishment amendment ). The Post: The mission of CRSW is to deliver motivated and inspired RAF reservists to Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF) Squadrons, ready to embark on Phase 2 training and ultimately deliver operational output for the RAF. Reporting to the SNCO Rec (IC Pillar), the JNCO Reserve Support 2 is a vital member of the CRSW team who work collectively and collaboratively to deliver our mission through a range of activities to attract and recruit candidates, deliver Phase 1 training, and other tasks to guide, mentor, and support people on their journey into the RAuxAF. The post will primarily be based at RAF Wittering. To support the delivery of CRSW’s core outputs the role may require occasional travel, overnight stays and weekend work. Given the nature of the role, other remote working options are available, and consideration given subject to agreement at interview and with the post sponsor. Post responsibilities : As a member of the CRSW team, the responsibilities of the successful applicant may include some or all of the following: Undertaking and contributing to recruitment and engagement activity, including representing the CRSW as a role model and delivering careers presentations at public events, shows, exhibitions, and careers fairs. Undertaking of all Wg administration including but not limited to; pay, mobilisations, SJAR, OJAR (Subject to preferred candidates profession, if applicable). Day-to-day administration and handling of assigned casework, including safe handling of sensitive material and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records and documentation as required. Arranging, delivering and supporting events for CRSW, both individually and as part of a team, including familiarisation events, presentations, and conducting interviews. Candidate familiarisation and support for trainees in accordance with the principles of effective CRM, to ensure that their journey is a smooth as possible with the necessary support and guidance available when needed. Supporting the delivery of training, specifically the Basic Recruit Training Course - Phase 1 Part 1 (BRTC Pt1 Ph1). Undertaking assigned projects and other duties as required by CoC to support delivery of CRSW mission.
