As a Bank Primary Care Nurse (Adult Nurse) you will be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from triaging and leading clinics, reception screening, medication administration as well as responding to emergency situations. Its not just the environment thats varied here, the role is too. Across everything you do, youll maintain accurate records and provide the kind of helpful, empathetic support that will make every patient feel at ease.
Main duties of the job
You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN) looking to develop your current skills in a unique and ever changing environment. You will have a passion for learning and development, as well as having the initiative to bring new ideas and opinions on how to improve the healthcare services. Prison Healthcare experience is not essential although we do ask that you have experience within primary care.

HMP Wayland is a category C training prison holding adult males, and has a capacity of 1,017. The prison originally opened in1985, and since then, has been added to significantly, increasing its capacity by some margin.
